A lot of people have negative reviews when it comes to the Loki costume. I actually enjoy mine. Last year I had the privilege to work for a costume shop durng there Halloween season. This costume was one of our best sellers. Like most costumes obvisously this isn't going to be on par with actual movie production value but at the original price it's not bad. I'd safely wear it to an Ren Faire. The complaints that most people have is the qaulity of the helmet it comes with. Yes it's only a face piece with velcro mounted horns but as I said before, these are costumes note actual movie grade replicas. I actually just found a decent hockey helmet with the right contours, painted it gold, mounted the Loki Helmet pieces to it and reinforced it with great stuff to add strength to it. To take a crack at the costumes quality seems a little critical. I recall at one time costumes came in boxs with a plastic mask and a ill fitting plastic onsie with shoddy ties in the back. That plastic onsie usually just said the name of the character, movie, or cartoon it represented and that was it. I'd rather have todays standrads thank you very much. If you really want to make more of the costume think outside of what is offered. I'm adding to my costume but at the core it's still the same qaulity product I purchased. The key to any costume is to accessorize. Am I glad I purchased it; yes I am. I'm actually going to modify it with some thrift store items I have already. If you are looking for a good babsis to build an awesome costume by all means buy this. If you are looking for a bare bones, don't want to add anything to it, put it on and be done with it then pass. At the current price, if I ran a costume shop of my own own, I'd clean up on these, and try to purchase the entire stock buy customes has of them. With the avengers movie coming out, the chances this same costume released again in avengers packaging at full price is bound to happen. I'd catch them on a steal of a price before the chance escapes you.

Great quality costume, but the "helmet" is junk. It only elastic straps on to the front of the face like a child's mask, the horns are velcro, barely stay on, & don't even point the right direction. I had to hot glue on a helmet back AND decent horns for it to even look worth a darn. So yes, buy this costume, but have a backup plan for the helmet, & maybe even a staff to really complete the look. My son's homemade Thor looked better than this.

I wouldn't recommend this costume to anyone. We bought this for my boyfriend and he's over six feet tall. This costume was way to small at an xl and extremely cheap looking. The head gear was cheap plastic and both of the horns went the same direction. We sent it back right away.
