the material is really nice, it is a little short I'm 5"7 so i ordered the medium and still to short but wearable the belt runs big and the bow just flops to much tailoring on my behalf so just returned

Best part of this costume was the intricate fabric, beautiful design got so many compliments. Its a little smaller for sizing so I would reccomend going up one. The arm thingys fall down if you are flailing your around. The bow needs to be doubled up or sewn to hold its shape. The only disappointment was the arm fabric didn't cover the backside. Otherwise it was a great fun costume. Hope this helps

The Princess of Your Dreams

I bought this item as a Halloween costume this past year. I was going to my first Halloween party ever and all my friends were going. I wanted to be something, upbeat, funky, and unique, while still looking sexy. ^_^ I love the Japanese culture, so I decided to take a look at this item. Let me tell you, it was love at first sight! The design, the colors, everything intrigued me!! When it arrived in the mail I was so excited. Although I felt a little dumfounded when I opened the package. There, splayed out in the box were the five or so pieces of garments that I had to put together on me to look like the picture. Seeing as I'm a little well, challenged at figuring these things out, it tok me a while to put on. But I did, and it looked great!! The fabric felt and looked as nice as I thought it would from looking at the picture, and it fit me perfectly. I guess my only complaint would be that the bow in the costume was a little droopy and the arm pieces not made to dance in. I had to take those off, because they kept sliding down my arms...

The fabric was pretty good, but good luck keeping the bow in the back up without a million safety pins! It wasn't what it looks like. The back side of the sleeves are the reverse of the fabric. The color change is horrible and looks cheep. and you might want to invest in your own lace for the middle instead of a string of thin ribbon.
