This costume is cheaply made for its price tag. My son insists its the best costume ever. But as a mom I don't like the plastic thin parts. My son has barely tried on the costume and the mask ripped.

This Optimus Prime costume is fun to look at, but the plastic pieces that go on the arm, the chest and the mask are very thin plastic and don't fit very well. The eye holes on the mask are small, too small to really keep on and be able to see out. The arm piece falls right off (or it did until we safety pinned in on) and the chest piece slips right off. We'll have to do a lot of rigging to get it all to stay on for t or t. It would be nice if the whole cloth costume part would be printed with a design so it wouldn't look funny if you left off one of the flimsy plastic pieces.

My son loves it. In fact we bought Bumblebee and Ratchet costume from the same line. They are all holding up really well. Fits average 6yr old very well.

My four year old loves this costume. It is a thin nylon material so if you live somewhere cold, you'll have to put some clothes underneath it. It's a bit fitted so works better on a slender child. The weapon piece was a little big so I used safety pins to tighten the straps. The mask looks like it might be a little uncomfortable after awhile because it is a thin plastic, but the fit was good. Overall, I'm happy with it and so is my son! I would recommend it.

The costume is great but the plastic breastplate is scratchy to the point of hurting. He loves it anyhow.
