I bought this to fill out the skirt of my Halloween costume, it was a little shorter than I was expecting and didn't really work as well as I hoped. I ended up wearing it WAY low on my hips, and that worked. The adjustable band worked fine, and it fit over my large hips at least :)

Rushed delivery to have with my pirate costume then didn't even use it because it was too loose and too short and just made my costume poofy which made me look fat.

It was cute, but I found that the underskirt kept riding up. Was glad that the back of my costume had a longer tail on it, otherwise it would have been a very revealing costume indeed!

Disappointed

I bought this petticoat, because I was in need of one that would give some extra length and ... errr ... backside coverage to some of my shorter costumes. This turned out to be a disappointment. It's very short and adds so much volume to the skirts of my costumes that it actually reveals MORE of my body than if I weren't wearing one! I'm 5' 2" and approx. 65kg. The material is OK, but a little too stiff. I'm yet to try ironing the tulle to see if that will help with the volume issue. In the end, I wore the Layered Tulle (Black) Petticoat with my costume and it worked perfectly. The drawstring feature is nice, but that's about all it has going for it to me.
