My smallish (size 6-8 ordered) grandson was thrilled beyond belief at the look for his junior high Renaissance Faire. This size ran true to fit and Grandmama was happy not to have to alter. He has not spent all day in it yet, so comfort ranking for 10 minutes is all he would give me. Busy boy!

Nice for one day at School and Play

This is a fine dress-up outfit. My son loves it and has worn it as much as I will let him since he got it two weeks ago. He is 4 and can dress himself in it. It does have several 'picked' places on the tunic, but still looks good enough to wear in public. The metalic threads are unraveling a bit and the hood is perpetually untucked. He wore it with black cowboy boot which worked very well. I would purchase it again.

Not bad at all

Very fun and comfortable. Arrive with a small hole on the headpiece which I had to sew back together. A little annoying, but I got over it. My son had a lot of fun with it this Halloween (2011). Looks like it held up fine and can be used next year too.

Tunic Made of Tinsel?

While the boot covers and arm guards are fine, the tunic sleeves and the hood are made of a material that snags, frays, and unravels looking more like pieces of tinsel hanging everywhere than a knight in shining armor. We thought our son could get tons of wear from it, but we barely made it through three Halloween/Trick-or-Treat opportunities with the costume in tact.

Not a bad knight costume. The quality of the material and finish is fair, but I cannot complain for the price. Some nice details and completeness of the costume were a plus. Unfortunately, after a single use, I will have to make some repairs. Costumes such as these are not the sturdiest, but they fit the bill for the most part. We were satisfied.
