I personally thought this costume was an excellent idea, and all my friends said it turned out really cool looking! However there were a few down sides.. lucking i had read the other reviews first! I usually wear a size 3 and ordered the large that is supposed to fit like a 10-14 and it fit me like a glove.. so definitely order larger regardless of what it tells you to! and another downflaw was the wig was extremely tight on my head.. I wound up taking it off halfway through the party because it was giving me a headache! But the overall costume and look were great!

As others have stated, I saw that the sizes ran small, so I ordered a medium, when I would normally wear a small. I'm a 2-4, and the medium was tight across the chest, arms, and rear sections. I couldn't imagine how someone larger could even fit into the thing! As has already been said, the head piece is very tight and covered my left eye brow, as it came down so far. I couldn't wear it farther back because of my natural hairline showing. Because it's been flat in the packaging, it has the look of a rooster's cockscomb, my husband laughed hysterically when I put it on. The best, and last part, were the gloves. These were so incorrectly sewn, I thought the hand that they used for the pattern had to be severely malformed. Between the middle two fingers the stitching didn't come down far enough, creating a webbed-finger look. Several of the fingers were either sewn way to large or much too tight. To say the least, they are uncomfortable to wear. You are actually better off just painting your hands too. The costume looks beautiful in the photo, but is very poor in execution and was a severe disappointment for me.

Hosting a Halloween Party. Don't want to be too risque. Needed comfort. Chose this for these reasons. The cap is too warm for my taste due to the plastic or vinyl or whatever it is but overall a great costume. Gloves will have to come off while serving food of course. Fits a little snugly. I am a size 8 and occasionally a 10. So take care there. I like this online site for purchasing costumes though. Easy!

This costume is not bad overall, except that it's not true to size at all. I ordered an X-Large and it was about the size of a Medium (Canadian sizes)... The material is not extendible, and the head piece was the final nail in the coffin (it's made of thick plastic, and once on, it looks like a chicken head piece); real ugly looking, not like a round head at all... The gloves that comes with it are deformed as well, you have to have giant's fingers for them to fit properly, and stubby fingers on top of it all. Not well designed at all. I would not recomment this costume to anybody.

I ordered size small because it said size 6 - 8 and under 125 lbs, which I am. It was so tight, I could hardly get it on. When I did get it on, it was so tight I couldn't zip it up. I had to send it back at my own expense which was a bummer because it wasn't my fault. So, order one size larger than you think. (The gloves are huge.)
