The costume is good quality fabric for the price, and it fits beautifully all over. You may need help getting into and out of it because of the location of the zipper, but it feels and looks great.

Cute Idea, but...

Plus: 1. "easier" to get into with it's zipper closure. 2. Quality/sturdy fabric. Minus: 1. The costume is a BRIGHT RED color. If you were looking to purchase because of the maroon/"blood" red color (as pictured) - don't be fooled. The fabric is so bright, it throws off the whole look and appeal of the garment. 2. While easier to get into, the fit is totally off. I purchased a size M (usually wear a size 6 dress). The arms were almost impossible to get on (suuuuuuuuper tight, almost as if they sewed size small arms onto the costume) and once i did get it on, the rest of the dress was way too big (especially in the chest area).

suck in~but then its so worth it!

Let me start with LOOK at the review titled Tight Squeeze and the one below it. Just as the rest of the reviews say it IS tight around the shoulders and it does take two people to get it on but it is such a GREAT costume and SO worth it! Try not wearing a bra and stuffing wash clothes or socks out of it, it really did look good. I ordered the bigger size which was a medium and I wear about a 6. I don't understand the bad reviews because it really wasn't that bad! however yep, a zipper could have fixed the whole problem! We paired it with the Jack the Ripper costume from Buycostumes.com~rhe other photo shows it on my friend and other costumes from Buycostumes.com

I Do Not Recommend This Costume!

I ordered this costume for Mardi Gras and had already purchased my own accessories i.e. shoes, hat with veil, and stockings. I shouldn't have done this! I had read the reviews that other patrons had posted regarding this costume's size. I should have listened! I COULD NOT get this costume over my head. I bought a medium and the size listed was for a woman's size 10. There is NO WAY this costume was made for a woman. It might fight a very young girl, but definitely not anyone that has a standard sized body. I did however make due with it. I cut out the middle white "dress part" and used the remaining red part as a coat. I had to do some sewing to make it look presentable, but it came out really cute. So, if you want to pay the money to make this into a cute coat, then go for it! If you want to look like the photo, only order if you are a very small size. Cheers!

I bought this costume for someone and when she tried to put it on she could not get it passed her shoulders. when i got it back from her i looked at it and saw that my 6 year old cousin would have trouble putting it on. The waist is so small that anyone over the age of 9 will not be able to fit it over their shoulders, and anyone that can fit it over will be to short to keep it from dragging...the fabric will not stretch so don't think u can squeeze in. the only reason u should by this is if the width of your shoulders is 7 inches, anymore u will be unsuccessful of getting into it, you will be wasting your money for once u take it out of the bag u will not be able to return it....
