  • Valkyrie Fun

    I wore this costume to a running race that consisted of obstacles such as water pits, slip and slides and muddy pits under barbed wire. I did have to do a little bit of stitching to make it fit properly but for $20 I thought I'd give it a try. Amazingly, the whole costume stayed on through the whole race. Everyone was blown away by our costumes. Thanks buycostumes.com!

  • Fun costume if bought at clearance price

    I got this costume for a great price during a promotion for around $15.00. At that price it's a very fun costume. At full price, I would reconsider. The costume is put together with velcro and the plastic shoulder pieces remind me of the plastic costumes I wore as a child in the early 80's. Lots of fun if bought while on sale!

  • A lot of great feedback on this costume

    I am overall really happy I bought this costume. I went on a bar crawl and to a Halloween party and got a lot of great feedback. Everyone seemed to love it! The only thing that is not true to size is the skirt. It was very clingy and I felt very uncomfortable so I had to buy a dress to go underneath. Luckily, I found one that matched perfectly. Once I had that I felt very comfortable. The silver go go boots also looked great with it and really made the costume.

  • Athena & Hermes!

    I got this costume on sale and it proved in valuable for our production of "oh my gods". We divied it up and it became Athena and Hermes. The "breastplate" is hysterical (and very flattering) on. The armor (shoulder) pieces are a bit annoying, but the arm pieces are very comfortable.
