This costume does NOT look like it does on the website. I ordered this costume in a L for my husband who is 6"2" 200 lbs, and he was swimming in it. The front of it looks like the "suspenders" were painted on, and it looked very cheesy. The shoulder pads were basically painted paper plates with a little elastic to hold to your arm, which just flapped around. The eye mask was also of paper-plate quality. He ended up going to a sporting goods store and buying a set of hockey pads and spray painting them which looked much better. He also got a pair of black cargo pants and boots which made the outfit. I would definitely NOT buy this costume - extremely oversized, low quality, and very cheesy looking.

I should have listened to all the negative reviews, but my gf and I are going to a costume party with a movie theme and she really wanted to go as Silk Spectre so here I am adding my two cents to the long list of bad reviews. So to begin the biggest problem with this costume is NOTHING FITS!!! I am 5'10 185 pounds in very good shape and the chest piece is way to big and the elbow pads don't fit around my arms, I actually had to spend $30 to have everything altered so that it can actually be worn without looking ridiculous and the should pads have to be glued onto the costume for them to actually stay. Second this costume looks nothing like the picture, there are no suspenders on the costume at all and everything is very poorly painted, and the rest of the costume is so thin it looks like you are wearing kids pajamas, so I had to go out and buy black pants to wear over the body suit again so that the costume would not be laughable. The belt in the picture is not the belt you get and looks so cheap that again I had to purchase additional accessories so that the costume actually looks good. So all in all I had to spend an extra $85 between alterations and accessories just to get this costume to resemble what is pictured, so honestly unless you plan on investing the time and money do not buy this costume.

I got this costume last year to go with my fiance as the modern Silk Spectre. First off, it does fit pretty big, so I'd recommend maybe a size down from what you'd normally wear. The whole top and bottom is one piece, so I cut the attached pants off and used black combat pants from Target and it made a big difference! The attached boot covers are terrible also, but I spray painted a pair of old Doc Martins black and they worked perfectly. Everything else worked out great, the gloves, mask, elbow and knee pads, shoulder pads and shin guards. Though the Velcro straps felt weak so I did reinforce them to be safe. Used the bullet bandoleer and a handgun holster to accessorize, as well as a watchmen button to complete the costume. Last touch was some white hair color on the sides. Overall it looked great and got a LOT of compliments, although I did alter the base costume extensively. It's a good buy if you go the extra mile to make it more authentic.

I'll keep this short... It doesn't fit!!!!!!! I ordered a medium based on the sizing provided but the out fit was way bigger than had been indicated. I would have needed a 48' chest to where this, i have a 40' This means i could not use the out fit and it is a complete waste of money, my time and effort. you can have it back if you want...i can never use this because you people cannot size clothing.

I guess when I ordered this I was expecting something close to what the picture was. So look at the picture of the chest piece of the costume but take the quality way way down. The chest piece only has the front portion and the back is like a hospital gown. Plus it was ridiculously over sized. I measured my chest and it is a 45 and the XL says 44-46 and it was way too big for me. Overall I would have to say this comedian costume is not funny for how awful the quality is.
