This costume was pretty cute and I was impressed with the quality. I was nervous about sizing so I ordered sm and med. The small was just fine - but as other comments posted - the arms were very small and I had to make a little cut for comfort, but otherwise fit great.

Cute costume - nothing special though. I would say sizing runs big b/c the small was way too big for me . I am 5'4" 115lbs and it was huge on me. The costume did not come with the hat either. Sending it back.

Great dress and a great value! Most Halloween costumes are made with cheaper fabrics and are mediocre quality, but this dress is definately not too bad! Can't beat the price! I am 5'10 and 179lbs. I usually take a size 12-14. I got the 1X and It fits very true to size and is definately a size 14-16 as the package says. If you are larger than this it might not be flattering or comfortable. The little cape is cute and yes the green fabric is different than the picture but its the same colour and it isn't a problem. The fabric strips on the dress are backed with foam to make them stiffer....not really liking that and wish it was just fabric strips, but again it's ok. The length is great...not too short and not too long! ( i have really long legs and its a perfect length). I bought a petticoat for extra volume under the dress...very cute! The fit of the dress and the pinstrips are very flattering also. It fits JUST like in the picture, which is great!!! If you are smaller than a size 12, the 1X might be a bit big, but then the Small and Medium sizes look very small and short!!! Shipping to Canada took 8 days...so order well enough in advance. I Will definately buy from buycostumes again!!! website is GREAT.

I ordered this costume for my firiend. She said This costume was itchy. Shoulders were too big however sleeves fit way too tight. I had to cut a slit underneath so it didnt cut off my circulation. There really was much to tell that this was a witch costume other than me carrying a broom and wearing the hat which messed up my hair and didnt stay on. The silk would not iron or steam out so it was wrinkled the entire night. For this being a sexy costume it was awfully long.

The material quality was decent... standard itchy costume feel, but not really bad. The colors (green) didn't quite match up. But The real reason I returned this item was the cut... I dunno who this was designed for but... They aren't human!! The shoulders were extremely broad and the arm hole would maybe have fit me when I was six. I am not a big girl or a body builder... 5'2" 130 lbs 40-27-39. curvy but not fat. This medium fell off of me and yet the sleeves barely got past my elbow. so - unless you fit the title of my review... don't buy this costume.
