Zeus was the king of gods, ruler of Olympia, and commanded the sky, thunder and lightning. Father to many of its heroes, including Hercules, Zeus was the pinnacle of Greek myth and revered throughout the ancient world in one form or another. The Zeus costume includes: grey toga, drape, decorative chest plate, two (2) arm guards with lightning bolt symbols, and copper crown.

This costume was great for the price. I got it for my husband so we could be Xena and Zeus. The gown will need to be touched up with an iron and we hung the rubber pieces up for a few days to try to eliminate the rubber/paint smell. It's not too bad but didn't want it to overpower the evening. The arm shields were a bit of a pain to tie up but we figured out a way. I do wish that the neckline had been more finished. It's just a raw cut neckline with no seams or surging.

Overall the costume is great fun, and i would recommend it for the money. Was a tad disappointed in some of the finishing details, but that's understandable when costumes are made in mass. The sleeves and neckline are not hemmed, just serge finished. Another point - the crown is not "copper", but rubber, like the breast plate and arm bands.

Costume material is good and looks just like the picture. The crown could be better (rubber material), but overall the rating is good. I have previously purchased costumes from the company and will continue to do so.

I got this costume on sale and it proved in valuable for our production of "oh my gods". We divied it up and it became Zeus and Ares. Looked great and good quality for one of these kinds of costumes. The breastplate was a little tricky to get on (I may not have been doing it right!)

Being in a fraternity at my University, it was only fitting that I be thee god of gods for Halloween. I searched around, found many ancient Greek style costumes, but nothing that included chest plate armor and wrist guards. I had also grown out my beard all month in preparation to wear this costume. Having my hair and beard sprayed white, I adorned the costume, looked in the mirror and realized how epic I looked. Everywhere I went I had compliments. This costume is great for any toga parties I plan to go to in the future (there will be plenty). I recommend this to anyone who wants to be the best Greek god they can be.
