Assassin’s Creed

Assassin’s Creed has gone from a surprise videogame hit in 2007 to a worldwide gaming phenomenon in 2014, with at least one new game in the franchise every year. The story goes like this: throughout history there have been two warring factions, making moves behind the scenes, manipulating world events: Templars, who are comprised largely of brutal men in power all over the world, and Assassins, an ancient guild of shadowy warriors who aren’t afraid to murder evil men in order to save mankind. The thing is, both groups are fighting toward the same end: World Peace. Assassins believe that can only be achieved through total freedom; Templars believe that people cannot be trusted to make their own decisions and true peace must be attained through totalitarian rule. This ward has been going on for a thousand years. Some people play the game because of the engrossing storyline. Most people play because you can free run over rooftops and straight-up murder dudes will a sweet hidden wrist blade. It’s pretty awesome. And BuyCostumes offers a great selection of the best Assassins in the series, from Ezio Auditore da Firenze—the great Assassin from the Italian Renaissance—to Edward Kenway, a ruthless Welsh pirate turned Assassin—to Ratonhnhaké:ton, better known as Connor Kenway (Edward’s Grandson)—half-Mohawk Indian brave in the American Revolution—to the hero of the new game coming out this November, Arno Dorian of the French Revolution. We also have very cool, very hot female versions of the Ezio and Connor outfit, perfect for a great couple’s costume. And you can get the whole gang together for a great group costume, rolling deep on that pub crawl or trick or treat expedition. Just remember to keep your hidden wrist blades to yourself.
