The Top 10 Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes of 2015
Only 364 more days until Halloween!
Halloween weekend 2015 is in the books, and celebs everywhere showed their stuff by dressing up – some went the funny route, some went the sexy route, and some went the crazy, over-the-top, elaborate route. And, since this is the Internet, it’s our duty to share our opinions on which celebrities did Halloween the best. Here are our picks for the Top 10 Celebrity Costumes of 2015.
1. Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka
Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker
The family Halloween costume themes that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have dressed up in with their children have taken the Internet by storm the last few years. Alice in Wonderland costumes and Batman costumes have been past choices, but the family went the Star Wars route this year in honor of the upcoming new movie, Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
2. Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum is known for throwing epic Halloween parties every year, and for wearing equally epic Halloween costumes to each one. This year, Jessica Rabbit was the character of choice, with Heidi undergoing 10 hours worth of prosthetics and makeup to complete the transformation. Now that’s what we call dedication – see more photos of the process on Heidi’s Instagram.
3. LeBron James
The NBA star showed off a different level of star power on Halloween night, when he impersonated singer Prince (or, if you prefer, ). Not only did King James have the Prince’s look down to a tee, including the guitar, but he gave singing a shot, too.
4. Justin Bieber
From a basketball player pretending to be a singer, to a singer pretending to be a basketball player. Love him or hate him, Biebz’ Semi-Pro costume was pretty much on-point.
5. Emily Ratajkowski
With a green party dress, blue wig, red beaded necklace, and some yellow body paint, Emily had all the pieces in place for the perfect Marge Simpson costume. Her Homer is pretty spot-on, too, even if he’s a little more in-shape than the man himself.
6. Katy Perry
It takes a true master of Halloween costumes to dress up as a verb instead of a noun. Known for her outlandish outfits during performances and concerts, Katy Perry was the perfect person to get it done. There’s also a video clip of Katy dropping the mic, and it’s awesome.
7. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
For his Halloween costume, The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment chose the only classic cartoon character that’s almost as buff as he is. The difference is that The Rock doesn’t need a can of spinach to beat jabronies.
8. Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson
Christie Brinkley & Clark Griswold
This couples costume comes from the comedy classic, National Lampoon’s Vacation. We’re not sure if it’s the hair, the glasses, or both, but Eric Johnson’s Chevy Chase impersonation is kind of freakishly uncanny.
9. David Spade
Actually, it probably was. But we’re going to say that it wasn’t, anyway. Either way, Pizza Rat is still adorable.
10. Ryan Reynolds
This one is just too good – Ryan Reynolds, star of the upcoming Deadpool movie, donned his Deadpool costume on Halloween and made the night of a group of kids in X-Men costumes. We guess this is technically Ryan Reynolds dressed as Ryan Reynolds dressed as Deadpool, then.
