I was a bit apprehensive about buying a costume online. I'm the type of person who REALLY likes to try on items before I purchase them, and products don't always resemble the example shown online. However, this costume was exactly what I had in mind, and I didn't have a lot of time to make a decision. So, I decided to order it and hope for the best. I'm very happy I chose to order this costume. The service was excellent. My order arrived as promised, and the costume definitely looked like the picture. It was a little smaller than I had presumed, but it fit. I would recommend you buy the women's 'Superhero' red boots to accompany your costume. My husband said they made the outfit.

Bought this costume for my daughter and she was really happy with it. Was bought a little bigger so it could last a few years. The quality was great and the price was cheaper than the local stores. Got the costume at the time they said we would.

I want to first state I received the costume very quickly. I ordered a size medium. Which in a perfect world would have fit me great. But when I tried it on it was very lose in the bodice. If you order this, order a size smaller.

I shopped around a lot to find the perfect wonder woman costume for this year. I found this one and it was inexpensive, great quality, and super fast shipping. The costume does run a little large, but I think I can manage with some safety pins. In the future I will buy all of my costumes here!!

Love this costume! Fits great, and doesn't seem cheaply made, like many do. For sizing, it seems pretty acurate. I normally wear a size 3, and bought the xsmall.

Pleasantly surprised

Great quality for the price. I was most pleasantly surprised by the quality and excellent fit of this costume. I did find the "gauntlet" style arm bands to be a tad tight, and I'll have to adjust the velcro on the headband to make it a little smaller, but overall the costume fits great. I fully expected to trash the shoe covers based on other reviews, but they're a good fit, as well. I would suggest using double stick tape or adhesive velcro strips to make them lay on the top of your shoes or boots better. I am a true size 6 up top (smaller chested) but a little curvy (sometimes size 8) on the bottom, so I ordered a size small. Perfect fit--like it was made for me.

Wonder Women

This Wonder Women costume was simply wonderful, I’m sure this Halloween will be a good one! There are a few flaws however, but nothing greater then fixable ones. One is that the whole costume is a bit itchy, but it seems to go away after a while so it’s not a big deal. The cape, along with being a tad bit uncomfortable, makes my neck a little red…I’m considering, along with others, to just forget about wearing it, I’m not completely sure.? Lastly, the boot covers are… well not amazing they hold up fine but they don’t completely cover the shoes… maybe purchasing the real boots could fix this problem. Other than that I would defiantly recommend this costume to anyone and everyone. I’m 14 and around 5’5, I purchased the adult costume because it was surprisingly cheaper than the teen…I figured the extra small would work…it fits like a glove. In conclusion, I love the costume and I just want to say thank you to buycostumes.com for making my purchase the easiest it could be.

Luckily I read previous reviews, so I knew to order a size smaller. That is very important! Honestly, I expected garbage. I am sure you have all noticed by now that ALL costumes, no matter where you buy them or how much you pay for them, they are junk! Just cheap, lame, limp junk. This costume is a little better. The fabric is a nice heavy, velvet like material, so you don't have to wear something underneath it because it is see through (been there done that). With that being said however, the velvet makes the dress a little frumpy. I am a slim, fit build, but the material makes me look and little heavier and wider than I really am. I am not too concerned about that, but would have liked to be as sexy as I really am! The skirt is the same way. Making me appear bigger than I really am. The skirt is also just long enough that you don' have to worry about someone getting a show, and just short enough to not be conservative. The cape straps hang too low from your neck, but your hair will cover that. The gauntlets are also a nice think foamy material. And the boot tops are pretty good for boot tops. My suggestion is to add more elastic to them to keep them over your boots. The tiara is perfect! Same think foamy material as gauntlets so stays in place and keeps your hair up! In shot the costume is better than the one that Wal-Mart sells and ended up being cheaper too, even after shipping. (Wal-Mart was $59.99 I think, and you can get this costume at 20% off) So don't expect perfection (impossible in our economy) but expect a fun workable costume!

Great Costume, Runs Large

Good quality costume but it runs large. I am usually a size 8-10 and ordered medium. It was WAY too big. The small is still a little big but it is much, much better. I'm also 5'11" and the length of the small is still adequate. Overall, I'm quite happy with the costume. The exchange process was very quick, easy and painless.
