I was hit at a halloween party we went to. Everyone wanted their picture taken with me. I LOVE it and would reccommend it to any wanting to be something unique and different for halloween.

Lots of fun for a great price

I have nothing bad to say about this costume, I am five feet tall and weigh 110, and the dress fits me just fine, I took in the jacket at the bottom hem so it would not flap around me. The birds have red jewels for eyes, they are sparkly black fabric, no feathers, but their shape and the way they look while your running through the streets arms raised and screaming, is priceless and classic. I put wire in the wings to shape them. I am wearing the costume right now, and I love it, and so does everyone else at the office!! Worth the money! AAA+++

cool idea...but needs work to pull it off

I love the idea of this costume because so many lady costumes are quite frankly, skanky. So, being a person who did not want to dress up as a dancer who is dressed up like a fireman, police officer or some other occupation that apparently has to have a low cut top, short skirt and a push up bra, I opted for a traditional classic. Alfred Hitchcock is one of my favorites, so I immediately loved this one. I got it in the mail rather quickly which was great but I must say, I was pretty disappointed in the quality, it was full on polyester which is alright, luckily it was a cool night. The birds that came sewn onto the dress were terrible, they looked like disco ducks or black geese. I ended up cutting most of them off and buying ravens at Michael's and then sewing them on myself. I made some fake blood out of corn syrup, red and blue dye and a dash of corn starch, then I made some faux beak stabs all over my body. I even sewed a bird on my blonde wig (not included) for effect. Everyone loved my costume and I had a blast. If I had it to do all over again, even though the costume was lacking, I'd probably buy it again, just because I don't have time to shop at Good Will for the green suit.

Great Costume!

I was a little nervous about this purchase since it had such mixed reviews. But when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised! While the birds aren't realistic and kind of dorky, I just think it adds to the awesomeness of this costume. I must say the bird attached to the headband is perfectly formed and does take the same shape as the one in the photo on this site. And although it is not the best material, what halloween costume is? A nice synthetic fabric will keep you toasty on a chilly halloween night. haha. I can't wait to wear it and have to answer "what are you supposed to be?" a million times because no one my age has seen The Birds.

I just adore this costume! I'm a huge Hitchcock fan and when I saw this costume I simply had to get it. My two complaints are the wig, and the jacket material. The wig was just so different from the movie and costume. It didn't match well and it was difficult trying to style it myself. If I could do things myself I wouldn't buy my costumes lol. The jacket, although it did it's job, was foam like. Other than that I love my costume! The dress fit very well and it was fun chosing where to put certain birds!

Great-Fun Costume

This was a fun costume - it won me 1st place at our office Halloween Party! Quality was very good; I'm a size 8 and it fit really well; received a lot of compliments and it got everyone thinking about their favorite Alfred Hitchcock movie

Hitchock Fun

Great custome. Very different than the norm out there. The crows were a scream....! Hitchcock movie lovers can really appreciate this one. Only complaint is the one-size-fits-all didn't work out well for me, since I'm only 5-1. Had to do some alternations so the hem wouldn't hang past my knees. Also the velcro belt kept catching on the jacket so I removed it altogether. Great, fun costume!!

A Debbie Downer!!!

I bought two costumes, and this was Plan A. Such an original idea; I was so excited--I forgot to read the reviews. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! The outfit is warm, but the material is Absolute Garbage!! It is darker than pictured--more of a sage or light army green. YUK!! And they add blood stains (not pictured on the model) to the jacket to make it more believeable--CHEAPY CHEAP!! Then the birds...TERRIBLE!! They are made from the same polyurethane material, w/red beaded eyes...they look ridiculous. I expected to see at least a few feathers, something. I CANNOT say enough bad things about the quality. I am sending this back IMMEDIATELY.

Good Idea, Bad Execution

I love the idea behind this costume. I picked it mainly because I'm sick of adult female costumes being so skanky and I thought the idea was funny. The jacket is pretty uncomfortable b/c it is foam and the dress collects a lot of static. Also, the birds are covered with glue (like, dripped all over them - not just the eyes) and they are angled really oddly all over the suit. So, while the idea is cute - it seems like it was put together by a bunch of kindergarteners.
