Pretty good for a costume site

This costume was purchased for my daughter's ice skating show. Usually we purchase the costumes from a Dance or Skating web site (typical priceing $120 each), but because we were getting so many different syles, we opted to go for cheaper....and I was quite pleased with this purchase. I did add some elastic to the bottom of the top, and tightened the elastic on the pants.....when a skater is out on the ice, you REALLY don't want a "costume malfunction"....WE aren't Janet Jackson!!

I was happy with the costume. I ordered it big so I could wear the pants higher on my waist. You couldn't take it in and still get it on because there is no zipper. I just pinned it up after I had it one and it worked well. My mother in law took the top in too so it fit well. The one thing that didn't seem right is the little shoulder straps were placed too far out. My mother in law moved those too and they worked fine. The elastic stopped working on the one strap but I don't know if it was because she moved it or not. I just pinned that also. Overall I was happy and had a lot of fun in the costume!

Overpriced costume!

This costume is HIGHLY overpriced for what you get. The fabric is cheap and feels really rough and stiff. For the price of this costume, I would have thought one would have gotten better material (i.e. satin). Very disappointing! Unfortunately, being overseas and with little time left before Halloween, I will have to settle for this costume because there are no other choices for me over here. I would not recommend this costume to others-not for the price. If it was half the listing price, maybe a buy.

The price of this costume does not fit the quality of the product. Yes, the costume is cute, but the quality of the cloth used, how it was sowed together & the size it claims to be, is very poor. The costume I got, ripped easily, both top & pants.

The thin and fragile fabric tore at every seam on the blouse and even tore in some stress points under the arm. Lining would help to reinforce the seams or a more flexible fabric would make movement in the costume more comfortable.

The top was not made very well. It was very hard to put on by myself. The shoulder straps are not long enough and not attached at the right spot. They would just fall off my shoulders and were to short, so when I tried to wear them they pulled the top up too high over my bust line. The elastic in the pants wasn't very good. It gave you very little play, so when you pulled them on you have to be very careful not to rip them.

Good Purchase

This was a great jasmine costume. I liked the color, material and style. The sheer material over the shiny material made it a little different which i enjoyed. I disliked the headpiece tho because of the fit of it so I didnt wear it but people can still identify you as jasmine. It fit me good but didnt give me much breathing room for the top portion of the costume so I had to manuver very carefully so I'd recommend going one size up. On top of that, great product and would recommend to others.
