I like this costume, but it does fit a bit small on me around my breasts (I wear either 34C or 32D) and the Velcro doesn't connect well. The accessories are cool but I would highly recommend to wear high heeled boots or knee high boots because the boot covers slide down and the Velcro doesn't connect the best. It is however a very flattering dress because of the Yellow belt so its good for the tummy and it is a feminine design. The skirt is short so I would recommend wearing shorts or tights underneath to keep it classy. Overall not a bad purchase, a little pricier than I am used to but not a disappointment :)

Cool looking costume!

I bought this costume for my girlfriend because we are planning to dress up as X-Men next Hallowe'en. This is a very cool looking costume. The metallic green and gold is quite striking. The skirt is a little short in back, so my girlfriend is going to wear leggings underneath. This is a well made costume at a good value.

Rare to find Jean Grey X-Men costume

This is a very fun and not too flirty (short) costume. I am using it as the base of a Phoenix costume that I am going to build. The main reason this won't be used as is, is that the quality of the material is very costumie for the price. Really in the $60 + range I do expect better. Still, I was prepared for the quality by the other reviews but since this is the only Jean Grey I have come across, I bought it with coupon.

Great Costume, butt

The sizing is very true to size. I'm an 8 and was worried the medium was going to run too small, it fits perfect, actually a little loose on top! I think the quality is on par with any costume you would buy in a Halloween store. My two gripes and they are minor, the shoe covers look really really cheese over the shoes, and they are kind of slippery when walking. And you need to purchase cheerleading bloomers or very short spandex shorts because your butt is definitely going to hang out. It's actually borderline obscene and I'm no prude! It's deceiving how short the costume is in the picture.

Arrived Just As Described!

This item arrived just as it described - the glovelettes were missing from the package, but after contacting BuyCostumes.com, they quickly sent them - it wasn't a hassle at all, and based on their customer service, I doubt the oversight of the glovelettes is common. The quality of the costume was worth the price - it's better quality than what you would typically find at a costume store. Good experience overall!

I've found many woman costumes to be too short and not flattering for real women. (non-models) This dress, however, is a classy comfortable fit. Flattering and not too short or low cut. I am 5'7" tall, and 135lbs. I typical wear a size 6. I ordered the medium and it was a perfect fit.

Great costume overall. I'm a tall girl and it was quite short so I will have to add some gold fabric to the bottom of it for length. Other than that a great costume that will be fun for any Xmen fan. I got a red wig to wear with it also.
