It wasn't as cute as I thought it would be. The sleeves were extremely itchy and the underskirt was hideous. It looked like a feed sack and it was too big, I chose to not wear the underskirt and wore shorts under it instead. One of the bootcovers ripped at the seams in two places. For the price, I am disappointed.

absolutely great costume for a party or night out! My only disappointment with the costume is the underskirt, you think it is a dress but it is a top and skirt and the skirt is done up with Velcro which does not keep together very well at all! So you will need to sew it up or safety pin it together and be careful of white material is very weak. Price is expensive but I had to ship it to the UK so had to expect a hefty price and it is official disney so again expected. Other than this the costume is brilliant, sizing was awesome, I am a bit on the big side so was worried about sizing but it fit perfectly! So fun and a great change from being a princess = )

The outfit does not quite measure up to the dozens of other outfits I have purchased here. The "dress" is actually a pull over top and a somewhat flimsy skirt. Size wise it fits fairly true, but the skirt is much longer than pictured. The entire top of the skirt is a white cotton fabric, so you need to keep it pulled up well above the waist. The top is somewhat scratchy and the lace is very hard to fluff. The shoe covers are very slouchy and cheap. Overall, I was very disappointed, considering it was licensed by Disney.

I was ok with the costume but the hook was not there. It's too much trouble to send it back for just the hook. I'm very short so the costume is too long but it will be no problem to shorten at waist. This is not the first costume I have ordered and have been very satisified with the products, price and timely manner in which they arrvived.

so i first got the costume and i ordered it slightly bigger because costumes usually run small not only was it ripped a bit but it was kind of big so i called them up and the nice lady on the phone immediately got me the costume i wanted, express shipping at no price to me the costume was so fun and pretty much all the parts were included the only thing i could complain about was the Velcro to close the skirt and back of dress which wasnt really that big of a deal at all awesome costume overall!

Sparkly and Fun

This costume is flashier than the picture leads on. Lots of sparkles and lots of fun! I must admit the quality of the costume is not the greatest, but it will suffice for Halloween. In accordance with earlier reviews, the weakest part of this costume is the skirt. When you look at the picture, what you see is what you get. The majority of the skirt is (a somewhat uncomfortable) mesh that rises up to the waist. Thankfully, I am relatively tall ( 5'9"), and the length wasn't too bad. In regards to sizing, I ordered a medium as suggested by the size chart and felt that it was on the bigger side. The quality also suffers when it comes to clasping - the skirt and top are only held together with velcro. I am considering making a few alterations and adding buttons instead. Overall though the costume is a lot of fun - I love the sparkles and the "Hooked on you" saying on the bottom! It also makes a great couples costume when paired to the Peter Pan costume!

I was so looking foward to this costume everything from the picture and the description sounded great, very much so not the case. Costume is poorly made and doesn't fit anywhere near what the size chart says. I have already contacted company about returning the product.

Not for short people!

I was so excited to get this costume. When I recieved it I was very disappointed. The first thing that I didn't like is that it's NOT a dress. It's a shirt and a skirt. With the skirt the yellow ruffles (you see on the pic) is attached to a high waisted skirt made of really bad white material and only does up with on small circle of velcro. I am 5'0 tall and 130 pds. I ordered a medium (because I ordered Strawberry Shortcake in the same size last year and it fit great) and if I wore the skirt on my waist it went down past my knees and if I wore it high across my ribs the velcro wouldn't stay closed (causing bulk in the back) and you couldn't really see the skirt over the bottom part of the shirt (the part where you see Captain Hook from the cartoon). I'm sure it would have worked out much better if I was 5'5" or taller. But even then I found the boot covers very baggy...so I guess I would have had to have alot larger legs too :P Needless to say I'm returning it :( I have got my costume from this site for the last 3 years and this is the first one I'm disappointed with so I will still order from here :)
