Hit Girl costume was a Hit!

This was a fun and easy costume. The reason I gave comfort 4 stars instead of 5 was because the cape just ties around your neck and hangs - I used safety pins to keep it off my neck. I'm 5'3" and weigh 125 lbs. The Medium fit good with room to spare if I wanted room to wear additional clothing underneath. The belt is cheap so be careful while storing and wearing. Also, the wig will need some shaping.

For the price, this is a great costume. However, the mask is of such poor quality that I can't use it - it's just a strip of black fabric with two holes cut out for the eyes. The pants have an elastic waistband. However, the fabric at the waist of the pants is sewn to the elastic in such a way that there is no give - until the elastic splits from the pants at approximately 5 locations. Nevertheless, the belt and skirt cover up the pant waistline, and you don't really need the mask. In total, the costume looks great and is comfortable. It's the kind of costume you can wear to the office or an office party and still be able to look everyone in the eye the next day with no loss of dignity. And it's cheap.

Looks good for most purposes

The costume is a fairly accurate representation of the Hit Girl outfit. The wig and belt were disappointing in that they were too delicate/thin. I couldn't even lightly brush the hairs on the wig to style & fluff them without them coming out in swatches. I have purchased a wig from another company to use. The front part of the belt with the logo is very thin. It looks as if it was made of pressed paper. I will need to either try to mount it on a real belt, or make my own. Cape and mask are OK. Pants, top, & skirt are adequate in appearance and are comfortable to wear.

I have not pulled the costume completly out the bag as it is a xmas gift for my daughter but it is just perfect. All she wants for xmas is a hit girl costume & I could not find one in Australia. Sorry no pictures yet but she will be so excited xmas morning. Cheers for helping me make my daughters xmas.

Overall the costume is good. It really looks like the original movie costume. You really get alot of costume for the money. The quality of the pants, shirt, cape, skirt are very good. Better than I had hoped. The belt material is thin almost rubbery, I think I was expecting it to be plastic but it matches the original cotume and is cute. The mask is fine. I would've raved about this outfit but to me the most important item was a huge dissapointment-the wig. Although the color of the wig was good, the quality was very poor. The hair is very thin, it arrived with the hair net lost in the large costume package so all the hair was twisted up into a mess and looked nothing at all like the style that is pictured. Although i can style hair, I don't know if I'm going to be able to use itI and I'll probably have to buy another wig.

I dress up every year and this Hit Girl costume is my favorite so far! I had so much fun in this costume. It fits well and is really comfortable. Such a good choice for something different.
