Good Costume for the price

Ok this costume is pretty good for the price. Its got some acurate details and is a good comfortable material. Unfortunately the back is pretty blah. The zipper on the back is in a position that you need someone to zip you up. This will be difficult after a night of drinking and having to go to the bathroom. I bought the xl size. I'm 6' 200lbs and I'm athleticly built. The upper part of the Costume fits a little loose, not too bad though. The bottom part of the costume fits well.. not too tight and not too loose. The mask looks like cheap. I reccomend finding someone that can make a helmet for you if your looking for a better look. I'm making my own helmet. Unfortunately when I recieved the costume it had a rip in the seam of the leg. Its a good thing bad thing because it forced me to alter the costume a bit. I added a zipper to the front for bathroom breaks lol, and tightened up the upper area to fit me better. Overall I would reccomend this costume.

really really good purchase

i purchased this costume on wednesday the 6th of june and it arrived exactly one week later on the 13th. i wore it to supernova (a pop culture convention here in sydney) i was stopped by over 100 people asking for photographs and i dont know how many askinig where i got the costume. i highly recomended this site and this product as well as the shield i ordered (which came in really handy as it was raining) the only problem i had was it was only Velcro holding it together rather than a zipper or clips and it kept popping open. other than that it was a fantastic purchase and i HIGHLY recommend this product!

Bad Elves

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister. She thinks it came from Santa Claus and she is VERY upset with the elves. When she opened the package, the zipper was unattached. We can't fix it. Also, I'm used to women's clothing being undersized, but as this is a men's costume, I was surprised to find it was too small.

Tight on a tall guy

Impressed with the quality and look of the costume. I'm 6'1", 195 lbs with a medium/slender build. I purchased the XL costume and found the jump suit to be a little tight, plus it left little to the imagination in the groin area. Package said it only fits up to 5'11", so I returned for the XXL. While the XXL fits more comfortably, it is a little baggy.

Decent but ill fitting

I'm 5' 11" with an athletic build and 182 lbs. So, I'm not tall nor chubby in any way. However, the legs are a bit short and the crotch is a bit too snug. While the chest and arms fit OK the waist is a bit generous leaving it a bit boxy, but that is to be expected. It is really the legs being a bit short that stinks. Also, the hood is awkward and does not form to your head like on the model (surprise). For the price it isn't quite what it should be.

Great costume for money!

This is a surprisingly well-made costume for its price, especially when you look at other superhero costumes out there that tend to look cheap in person. Spend the extra $30 and don't buy the Deluxe version, it's night and day compared to the Prestige and the Deluxe looks VERY cheap. My only complaints for this costume are that the mask looks a bit cheap and there's absolutely zero design on the back of the jumpsuit; I'll be adding my own webbing to make it look like the harness goes around the back, but that should've been addressed by the designers in the first place. Other than those minor complaints, for this price, this is a superhero costume that can't be beat!

Good costume, just a few nitpick problems

I ordered this with the gloves that go with it, just to make sure I had the real character down. For the most part, the costume does its job as a decent Captain America costume from the movie. The quality seems pretty nice as well. My problems with it are just a few things - one, the boot tops sewn into the lefs. First off, he definitely doesn't wear buccaneer-style boots in the film. If you don't mind wearing completely different shoes, then that's cool. Also, the size is a bit odd. Big in some areas, small in others. But since everyone's body is different, one size to someone is completely different than to another. I'm 5'11" and good build - this ended up being fine up top (if not a little too loose), but rides a little short on the bottom half (watch them wedgies!). With the gloves (ordered separately), this does a decent job, and is perfect for the standard Halloween thing. =)
