Sleeves are way too small!

I should have heeded another reviewer's warning! I can't be that disproportional! I'm 5'5 and about 120 lbs but dang the sleeves are not elastic. Super tight. I can't tell if I should have gotten a Medium and risk the skirt not fitting? I'm just confused. There are loose threads everywhere and when I put on the sleeves, one side ripped at the seam and I had to re-sew it. I didn't bother using the stocking it came with knowing it will be sliding down all night.

Great Costume!

I bought this costume for a comic book convention. I loved it. Except the top is REALLY short and I have no boobs so if it is short on me I can only image. The skirt fits really nice and is loose which is nice so you have no muffin top. Also the skirt is a lot longer then you would think. (longer compared to most costumes) I had to add the buttons on the skirt, because that was my favorite part of the costume. Also the sailor collar kept coming up so I had to tape it down. All in all I loved it. I got a small and I felt it was true to size.

I am small so thats what i got and the sleeves where wayyyyy to small..... i really wish it fit better cuz it looked great but just looked super bad when its that small. do not get!!!

SuckerPunch Awesomness

Was SO impressed with this costume! Easy to do hair and whipped on the outfit and thats it! Top is a little tight especially around the arms and tummy and doesnt come down as much as the picture shows however that may have been because my bust is a little larger so it pulled up. Also, the stay up stockings dont stay up. I would recommend either getting your own better quality ones, suspenders or wear tights as these ones started to roll down after a few steps.

Costume is of very good quality and thick, will have to alter it a little on the chest area but overall awesome costume for Halloween, cosplay and comic cons.

Fun and cheap

I was recognized by a bunch of people who loved the movie. The costume garnered attention from anime and live action fans alike. My only complaint is that the sleeves were a bit snug around the armholes, so I just cut a slit in them, and a lot of the stitching was uneven. Either way, I'm using this as a pattern for a new and improved baby doll costume in denim, because the length of the skirt and cut of the top were so flattering. It was cheap, arrived fast, and got attention. Buy it.

Sucker Punch - Babydoll Costume

Before I give my review of the costume I would like to give a little back story as to why I purchased the costume. In Australia every year we have a big event called Supanova Pop Culture Expo (similar to Comic-Con). This year I wanted to cosplay (Costume Play) as Babydoll from SuckerPunch. Review: This costume was perfect. I tried it on the week leading up to Supanova & it fit perfectly. I was a bit worried about the slit in skirt being too high for my liking but when I tried on the skirt I saw how high the slit went & that worry went away. The top fit perfectly as well however when I did try it on before the weekend I noticed the the right arm sleeve was bit tighter then the left arm sleeve but it was fine by the weekend. The shoes are my own & worked well with the costume. At Supanova everyone who I got a photo with complimented me on how great the costume looked!!

Last Minute Costume

Last minute decided on being baby doll. Costume was nicely constructed. good heavy material not the cheap flimsy stuff you see on some packaged costumes. top fit good as well as the bottom. I wish this costume would have come with the double gun holsters like the movie but overall I loved it!

Decent Costume, Not Worth the Money

If you are a huge fan of Baby Doll and Sucker Punch, by all means, get this costume. However, I did not find the costume to be worth $49.99. The headpiece was a flimsy ribbon with velcro on both ends that is supposed to be used as a headband. When I took the headband out of the package, it was crinkled and cheap looking. I immediately threw it in the garbage. Useless. The top looks exactly as it is in the picture. If you ordered an XS, BEWARE! It has absolutely no stretch around the waist. I had to break all the threads when I stretched it myself. Don't be surprised if you hear a lot of pops when you try to pull it over your head. The skirt does not look pleated like it does on the model. However, the elastic is very comfortable and sits well on the hips. The slit is quite high. The belt was plastic-y and cheap, but what can you expect from a bought Halloween costume? Fortunately, it fit through the loops on the top. Warning: Wear the belt, or the loops will end up looking very awkward. The thigh highs are just black stockings. If you plan on wearing heels, wear some socks over the thigh highs or your feet will slip and slide. They are thin, so wearing thicker long socks over them will keep you warm in the cold (assuming you will be parading outside) For as expensive as this costume is, it should include the gloves, and the rest of the accessories that are pictured in the image. Overall, this costume was okay. It is quite versatile, as it can be used for a schoolgirl or sailor costume.
