Minions Halloween Face Paint Tutorial by BeautifulYouTV

Minions Halloween Face Paint Tutorial by BeautifulYouTV

Our friend Karina, known as BeautifulYouTV on YouTube, has created some amazing Halloween special effects makeup looks with us in the past, like this scarred and slashed zombie face with beautifully disgusting werewolf fingernails. This time, she’s back with something a little, shall we say, happier: Minions!

This Minions face paint is an awesome alternative to Minion goggles, and since it covers your entire face, you can literally transform into your Minion character. Karina used this women’s Minion costume for this makeup look. Her puppy, Sonja, joined for this video, too. Be sure to check out the Minions pet costume that she wore as well.

Learn how to get this face paint look with the video tutorial below:

Today I’m going to show you how to create this cool Minion look for Halloween. However, before I go on to the tutorial let me tell you that I got my doggie’s and my costume from the website You can find practically everything there for Halloween celebrations, so check it out. And the link to our costumes will be in the description box below.

I begin our look with a primer, which prepare my lids for makeup application. Next I grab my Pro Paints by Graftobian and create minions glasses using grey paint. I create the sketch first and then add more color to it. In order to add a 3D dimension to the glasses I will also use a combination of black and white paints.

Now let’s fill in the eye area. I don’t want to apply paints too close to my eyes so I use Nyx Jumbo pencil in milk first. I apply it to my lids and then blend the white color with a fluffy dome brush.

Next I apply White Pro Paint to the outer white circle. Using black paint, I outline the glasses like so, and using the same paint I draw on the arms of my glasses.

Next I cover my entire face with yellow paint in order for this look to appear complete I make sure to cover my neck and ears too. Finally I put on the costume, gloves and headband that I got from and I’m ready.

Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
